My last day in Venice. We could do whatever we wanted today, so some friends and I decided to go to an LDS church branch just outside of Venice. It took a little while to get there but was so worth it! I was glad that Megan had good directions or else we would have never gotten there The people there were so nice to us, and it was very relaxing and familiar. Once we got back we made our way to St. Marks again. This time it took probably about 2 hours to get there and it should have only been maybe a 30 min. walk. I guess we just like to take the scenic routes when walking(a.k.a getting lost) The reason why we wanted to go again was because we wanted to go to the top of this tower where you are able to see all of Venice. It was really cool to see how all of the islands work and how most of them are a lot smaller than I thought, when just walking through them. I loved it, I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. To see St. Marks in an arial view put it into a lot better perspective. It is a lot bigger than I thought and the style is a lot different than the other churches. After taking a ton of pictures we headed back down and started our way back. We had to meet back at the train station to get on our overnight train to Paris, I am not sure how that is going to work. I am excited for Paris, I am looking forward to every single day that we are there. We will be staying there for 6 days.
